I recently purchased an apartment at RC Kingston, developed by Rajarathnam Construction Private Limited. Below is my detailed review of the experience, highlighting the strengths and areas for improvement. Pros 1. Prime Location: RC Kingston is strategically located, offering excellent connectivity and access to essential amenities, making it a highly desirable place to live. 2. Flexible Payment Schedules: The payment plans were accommodating, allowing me to manage finances without stress. 3. No Payment Pressure: The team was professional and never pressured me regarding payments, which made the buying process smooth and pleasant. 4. Excellent Customer Service: From housekeeping staff to management, the entire team was courteous and responsive. Their dedication to customer satisfaction stood out. 5. Special Mentions: I interacted daily with several team members who were instrumental in my decision to purchase and move into RC Kingston. A special mention to Mr.Joseph (late): His guidance was pivotal in choosing RC Kingston over a cheaper alternative like Radiance Suprema. Also have to mention Mr. Sivakumar, Mr.Selvam, Mrs.Sundaravalli, Mr. Lourdraj, Mrs. Daisy, Mrs.Priya, Mrs.Beena, Mr.Chandrasekar, Mr.Jayaraman, Mr.Udhayakumar, Mr.Kathir: Their consistent support and follow-ups made the pre-move-in process seamless. Cons 1. Poor Project Planning: For a high-rise building, the lack of proper infrastructure for installing split AC units is a significant oversight. Technicians currently rely on scaffolding, which is neither safe nor sustainable. A permanent solution is urgently needed. 2. Subpar Material Quality: The electrical sockets and switches, particularly the 3-pin sockets, are fragile and prone to damage after minimal use, which is disappointing for a premium project. 3. Excessive Follow-ups Required: Completing minor tasks, such as installing false ceilings in toilets (done after a long delay) and main door grills (still pending), requires persistent follow-ups, which is frustrating. 4. Undersaffed Project Coordination: With only two project coordinators for the entire building, the team struggles to handle the volume of last-minute touch-ups and finishing work as residents move in. Hiring additional staff would improve efficiency. Overall Rating: RC Kingston offers a promising living experience with its prime location and exceptional customer service. However, the project’s shortcomings in planning, material quality, and staffing need urgent attention. If these issues are addressed, RC Kingston could easily achieve a perfect 5/5 rating.
